Cancellation Policy

APPOINTMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS At Empress Hair Braiding Salon, professionalism, respect for time, and quality service are top priorities. These policies are in place to ensure fairness, consistency, and a smooth experience for both the stylist and each client. FULL POLICY Retainer & Fees A non-refundable $25 retainer fee is required to secure all appointments and will be credited toward your service total on the day of your appointment. A $1.99 processing fee is added at booking, making the total due at checkout $26.99. This fee is charged by the payment processor (Credit Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, etc.) and is not retained by the salon. Cancellations & Rescheduling Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling with proper notice will carry your existing retainer forward to the new appointment date. Rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice will be treated as a cancellation, and the retainer will be forfeited. Arrivals & Delays Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled appointment. There is no grace period for late arrivals. If the stylist is running behind due to a previous service, clients will be notified as soon as possible, and no later than 1 hour prior to their scheduled time. All appointment times are estimated and may vary depending on the length and complexity of prior services. No Call / No Show No call / no show appointments will result in the loss of future booking privileges. Any future appointments made under these circumstances may be automatically canceled. Clients with a pattern of repeated late arrivals may also be subject to loss of future booking privileges, at the stylist's discretion.
